Benguerra Island is situated 14 kilometres off Mozambique, on the Eastern coast of Africa.
By Air
The nearest airport is Vilankulo (VNX) with direct commercial flights from Johannesburg (JNB), Maputo (MPT) and Nelspruit Kruger Mpumalanga (MQP). Private travel arrangement can also be made through VistaJet and XO.
The anchorage of private vessels at Kisawa is welcome to non-residing guests for lunch and dinner with 48 hours prior notice.
By Helicopter
After touching down in Vilankulo, the Kisawa airport host will meet and assist guests through immigration – as well as assisting with luggage.
Transfer from Vilankulo (VNX) to the Kisawa Helipad is typically 7 minutes. The return charter will be arranged upon booking, for an additional fee of 450 EUR per person. (For stays of 7 nights or more, the helicopter transfer is complimentary).
