Join the Adventure

Coastal Mozambique as you've never seen it

August 2023: From dune hopping, flamingo frolicking & dugong spotting to ‘marine scientist for a day’, Kisawa’s new Adventure Menu is not to be missed.

Popular adventures include our Marine Wildlife Expedition to see (and sometimes snorkel among) the 7 types of resident dolphins, greet the elusive and endangered dugong or observe our 5 varieties of turtles.

Learn more about living on Benguerra Island through the ancestral techniques of dhow fishing, join in the village football match or go one on one with our activities team as they teach you the finer board game skills of  Tchuva.

Between July-October we celebrate humpback whale migration season.  This season is looking whale abundant, with humpbacks last week beginning to arrive in groups (pods), showing exuberant behaviour such as breaching and rolling.

Over the weekend, a group of lucky BCSS divers encountered a curious calf while snorkelling on an open ocean drift.

Kisawa is for everyone who wants to (re)discover their own rhythm and (re)connect with themselves and nature.
