Take to the skies with a ‘Blue Watching’ Expedition
Introducing a new heli-adventure led by a member of the BCSS science team
December 2023: Introducing a new sky dwelling expedition to our adventure menu: Blue Watching.
Take off at the Kisawa helipad for an incredible 30 minute heli-safari around the Bazaruto Archipelago, granting an intimate ‘birds eye view’ of the incredibly rich marine life in the channel of Mozambique.
Gazing across the blues of our turquoise Indian Ocean ocean, you will witness one of the most unique and spectacular views of humpback whales*, dolphins and dugongs – under the direction of a member of the BCSS ocean science team, who will serve as a guide for this experience.
Utilising their vast bank of knowledge and years of experience in the region, the BCSS guide will help locate the marine life “hotspots” for that day, honouring the dynamic movements within the national marine park, the tides and currents, water quality and the individual ecosystems and habitats.
