With Festive Season fast approaching, the Kisawi team is busy preparing to welcome old friends and new. This is a unique time on the island, traditionally a period of togetherness, honouring connections and special relationships.

The celebratory phrase used on Benguerra Island, “Siku le guinene ga maxaka” translates to “Happy family day“.

Across the Festive period, we have created a series of special island events, incorporating celebratory dinners, bonfire banquets, family ocean adventures, wellbeing practices, dancing under the stars, village football and many opportunities to connect with the people of the island and their culture.

Please enjoy the festivities at full, or choose the moments that resonate best with your personal rhythm.

Our team are delighted to welcome you over this very special & peaceful time of year.
