Welcome to the Garden

Our latest & freshest dining venue

November 2024

Introducing Garden Dining. Kisawa’s new daytime culinary setting invites guests into the bloom of our regenerated permaculture garden.

As the second chapter to last year’s garden expansion project with ESUDER Agricultural University, our dedicated farm and garden is now open for lunch daily, serving freshly picked produce from the grounds surrounding your table.

The Garden’s daily menu is based on seasonality and what was carefully selected for harvest that morning. The resulting assortment of baked goods and salads are served family style, with an accompaniment of fresh vegetables, local seafood & meat and the most aromatic herbs and botanicals that can be smelled on the Benguerra breeze.

Guests can enjoy the earth under their feet and the dappled light from surrounding trees, as they experience a lunch and wine pairing with a uniquely Mozambican twist.  And barman Lourenço is always on hand to mix up pre-dining cocktails, as a personalised welcome to the heart of our sanctuary.
