Kisawa recognised by Mozambique’s Minister of Culture and Tourism

The certification awards the property the highest five star rating.

Kisawa Sanctuary is proud to receive the seal of ‘CLEAN & SAFE’ from Mozambique’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Eldevina Materula. Announced yesterday at Kisawa by Ms Materula, the certification awards the property the highest five star rating and certifies its safety to welcome guests.

The ‘CLEAN & SAFE’ seal was awarded in the presence of the Minister’s delegation, including Telma Sono from National Tourism and Pablo Schapira from Bazaruto Archipelago Parks and Conservation.

The seal certifies Kisawa’s compliance with all sanitary and safety protocol, in addition to the official classification of Kisawa Sanctuary as a Five Star property. Chorten Wangyel, Kisawa General Manager accepted the accolade on behalf of the sanctuary.

We are proud to be classified as Five Stars and are eager to continue welcoming national and international guests to beautiful Benguerra Island with the official blessing and support of Ms Materula and the department of Culture and Tourism“.
