Best of Interiors Awards

Kisawa Sanctuary’s Natural Wellness Center (NWC) has been named as one of 11 global projects heralded for Interior Design by Elle Decor Italy, in their second annual ‘Best of Interiors Awards‘.

The awards recognise the ability of certain interior design studios to respond to the new needs of living, offering a futuristic vision that materialises in their work.

Announced last night at an awards ceremony hosted at the Museo del Novecento, the winning projects, selected from over 160 international studios, were awarded in 11 categories: Apartment, Villa, City Hotel, Resort, Spa, Renovation, Restaurant, Retail Space, Office, Sustainable Project and New Talent.

As the winner of the Spa category, Kisawa is honoured to have our home of wellbeing recognised by such a prestigious title & occasion.

⁠⁠”When I conceived Kisawa, wellness was a fundamental pillar; a way to reconnect each guest with the spectacular surrounding environment of coastal Mozambique. I envisioned the Natural Wellness Center as an independent home, created using the island’s generational crafts of weaving and thatching, to narrate the rich history of Ayurveda across the Indian Ocean.⁠
